My name is Michael; thanks for visiting my website! I am a cognitive neuroscientist interested in human behaviour, statistics, and data modelling. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford, where I also completed my DPhil (PhD) on work intersecting cognitive psychology and neurobiology. I previously worked in the National Health Service (UK) in data analysis and clinical-facing roles.
My work has been featured in the media, including The Mirror, The I, MedicalXPress and the University of Oxford frontpage.
I created this website mainly as I wanted to improve my skills with CSS and JavaScript. However, it was also a means to consolidate my skills,
experience and publications (and to have a home for my photos as well!).

All photos displayed on this website (incl. website backgrounds) were shot and processed by myself using a mixture of Sony Alpha range and old Nikon DLSR cameras.
